best day ever

It's official and I couldn't be more excited! Congratulations to Kirk and Lar on the best engagement ever! Way to make my day...way to make my life! Not only that, but it was also the best food day ever...dubs at Menna's and sesquicentennial swirl ice cream at the dairy store and then the best protein smoothie ever at Aunt Gwen's. Also, B!G congratulations are in order for MC Cammer, who graduated from Bowling Green State University yesterday cum laude. Can I get an Ay Ziggy Zoomba? Add in a 17-mile run Saturday morning and that was pretty much my whole weekend. Kinda packed, right? Probably explains why I feel a little bit like I'm having a heart attack right now.tomorrow morning I plan on sleeping in until at least 8 or 9. Definitely a sign that I'm getting old that 8 AM is sleeping in. That combined with all these crazy kids gettin engaged and stuff.

Next weekend is the big 25K and I feel pretty ready. I'm happy with where I'm at in my training both with speed work and endurance. Next weekend is also Mother's Day, so I really need to get it together to remind LT why I'm her favorite. It shouldn't be too hard considering she's not exactly discreet about wanting more Pandora beads for her charm bracelet. Speaking of which, I want to meet this Pandora character, they are making a fortune off of my siblings and I.

Oh how I've missed watching MC Cammer dance. I'm gonna have to cut this short and enjoy the entertainment while it lasts.
